Belcourt is a Michif artist and author from Manitou Sakhigan. Much of her work explores and celebrates the beauty of the natural world and traditional Indigenous world-views on spirituality and natural medicines while exploring nature’s symbolic properties.  Her work can be found in permanent collections across Canada and the US, and has been featured in both solo and group exhibitions internationally. Christi has also organized many community based projects including Walking with Our Sisters, the Willisville Mountain Project, and the year-round Indigenous language and traditional arts camp, Nimkii Aazhibikong.
