Marie grew up and resides in Fort Liard. She is a multifaceted artist, using her traditional knowledge and many skills to create unique handmade artwork, ranging from beading to quillwork. Marie starts her creative process from how she feels in the moment, inspired by the natural treasures that surround her.  She tans moosehides for personal use or to sell to those who do not know how to tan their own.
