Tukiki Manumie was an artist from Kinngait (Cape Dorset), whose practice included carving, drawing, printmaking, and jewellery. He came into prominence in the 1970s with his carvings, which were done primarily in serpentinite. Manumie’s work is included in many prominent museums and public collections throughout Canada and internationally, including the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, ON, the Winnipeg Art Gallery in Winnipeg, MB, and the McMaster Museum of Art in Hamilton, ON
