PLACE WHERE ULU PARTS ARE FOUND
Once known as Holman, Ulukhatok is located on Banks Island in Canada’s western arctic in the Northwest Territories. Although several art forms can be found here such as carvings, wallhangings, and fibre art, prints have come to be the most recognized. An annual print release from the 1960s to 2001 was widely celebrated and rivalled Kinngait’s in its popularity.
