This is a mill of local ash wood. The 4 footed base is hand carved base, and some texturing done on the small band toward the top. The base and cap are dyed, and the entire piece is protected with a matte finish.

This piece was inspired by the boxes made by Bill Clark, a fine woodturner from California.

The mechanism in this piece is stainless steel.
