This mill is similar in design to the anvil peppermill, except it has curved cutouts carved into the base which gives it feet.

I used thin walnut strips that had been steam bent and curved to fit the side, and glued them in place before carving the sides to give it a raised panel look. Like the anvil mill, the interior is hourglass shaped to match the exterior of the mill.

The mechanism in this piece is stainless steel.
