A piece inspired by the boxes turned by Bill Clark of California.
This peppermill has only one kind of wood, silver maple from the neighbor’s tree across the street. The lid and base are stained with aniline dye, as is the textured ring on the lower end of the mill. The lid and the little cap that adjusts the grind are textured with a wood burned design.
It has matte finish, with a light duty ceramic mechanism.
