Tanagra Figurine Holding a Fan
Terracotta female figurine (Tanagraea) wearing a chiton and a himation covering the head and holding a fan in her left hand. In the original there are traces of blue and black colouring. These figurines were first found in the Boeotian town of Tanagra although they probably originated in Athens c. 330 BC.
