Steve Genaille was born in 1969 in The Pas, Manitoba and is a member of Pine Creek First Nation. He has been carving since he was 5 years old. He self quarries stone in the Hollow Water region of Manitoba. Steve’s carvings have been recognised by the Pan Am Games of Canada. His work can be found in collections around the world.
