This collection refers to and deconstructs the concept of purity rings — a cultural phenomenon and symbol of abstinence. The designs alter the text or iconography of purity rings, like a budding rose modified to a blossoming vulva-like. The intent is to question the idea of purity in relation to sexuality and the body to encourage everyday conversations and empowerment.
